Understanding the land
![]() |
You will be introduced and welcomed to this ancient land by National Parks and Wildlife Aboriginal Discovery Rangers. Their intimate knowledge of the indigenous Wiradjuri and Walgalu heritage and culture as well as of the colonial history will help you view the landscape and discover your own expression of its stories. The indigenous rangers will also enable you to access locations and experience Ancient traditions that are beyond the reach of most visitors. |
Learning how to capture the landscape
Once you’ve gained a deeper understanding of the region, two professional landscape photographers will provide you with the technical information you need to photograph it. Through a combination of field trips and tutorials you’ll learn the secrets of successful landscape photography, from the importance of rising early and being patient, to pre-visualising a scene and developing an awareness of the critical play between weather, light and landscape.
